MANILA, Philippines — A bus accident in Occidental Mindoro left two teachers of the University of Rizal System useless on Saturday.
The victims who died in the accident had been recognized as Elmer Dacillo, 61, a sports activities director and Jonathan Penada, 51, a campus director of Binangonan, URS.
According to Romblon News Network, the 2 teachers had been aboard a bus carrying college students and delegates of URS to the Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) Olympics 2017 when the car crashed alongside Sitio Bunga, Barangay Nicholas, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro at round 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The bus was carrying 44 delegates who had been slated to attend the STRASUC in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
